Absinthe ( left side) was planted last Thursday afternoon. The cuttings came from the garden of Jeanne Rose (www.jeannerose.com) and they were rooted for us by Dan and Joanne at Flatland Flower Farm. The first flowers will be harvested next May to be distilled by Hanger One in Alameda. We are also growing other herbs which are involved in Absinthe production on the farm. We are looking forward to our first tasting party on the farm sometime next summer.
