Garlicky Sautéed Greens
This is my favorite fast way to do chard. This recipe may convert the committed greens hater in your life. 1 bunch chard, washed, stems cut off 4 cloves minced garlic 1 Tbs red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp kosher salt black pepper to taste 2 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil + a drizzle more
Roughly chop the chard. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet and sauté two minutes until it wilts. Cover, turn down the heat to low, and cook 10 minutes. Uncover, push over the chard to the side, and drizzle a little more olive oil in the space created. Turn up the heat to medium and add the garlic. Sauté on that side just 15 seconds, then stir everything together, season with black pepper, salt and vinegar.
