That's the temperature this afternoon and $400 a day is what the irrigation is costing us, seven days a week. Drought is expensive. We have been giving our orchard a very long and slow drink. We want the soil around roots to be fully moistened. The canal water will turn off next week and we are told we will have to wait until April for more water.
