Making sure we have all the water where and when we want it is a work in progress that takes time and money. last week we installed a 3" underground pipe to an area on the farm where we will plant our winter squash in a week or so. We rented this trenching machine and in our delicious soil it dug a trench 30" deep, 800' long in about 2 hours. Fernando then got all the pipes in place. We shut of the system to cut into it and glue our new line connection valve into place. In 15 minutes, with some fast setting glue, we were irrigating the farm again. He then used slower setting glue to set our extension line in place.
