We pick, plant and grow crops for our Eatwell baskets 50 weeks of the year. It is sometimes difficult to find the time and space to make improvements to the farm. Since last year we have had Fernando almost exclusively devoted to making many much needed improvements. Here he is laying a pipe under one of the farm 'super highways' . He has to make sure we have access to the fields while digging the trench. This road has two pipes under it, both critical. This is no job for a trenching machine it will have to be dug by hand. He is using water to make the digging easier. The pipe will only be buried 24" deep.
