Harvesting Shallots
We grew shallots this year because Lorraine said so. Lorraine and I have what I think is an amazing deal: I grow the food, and she cooks it. Once these are harvested and dried, we will put some in your box to try. Please let us know what you think. We will probably offer them as extras for those of you who are great lovers of this onion, like Lorraine is. This is the “Year of the Onion” at Eatwell Farm, and we hope you are enjoying this wonderful and versatile vegetable.

Yea Lorraine! I am loving the year of the onion and think shallots are a great addition. One can never have too many onions!
