Meet “Dixon”
At the farm tomato canning party on August 11th, an unexpected visitor showed up: a stray puppy. We caught him and gave him food and water. As you may already know, some people think that dumping an unwanted puppy or kitten in the “country” is acceptable. This is why we have so many cats that have called Eatwell Farm their home. Puppies rarely survive because of the coyotes in the area.
Long-time CSA members, Bob and Pat, fell in love with the puppy and took him home to the Mission District. After a good bath and a vet inspection, he was pronounced healthy. Bob brought him to the market last Saturday for us to see the transformation. They have found a permanent home for “Dixon” with a friend.

That is so fantastic! That little puppy had the sweetest personality I’ve ever seen. Glad he found a good home.
