Very Good News
My cancer is now in complete remission. I still have to deal with the damage to my spine that was done by the cancer. I am doing some special Physical Therapy in Folsom. I also have to go back to UCSF to harvest my stem cells and put them in the freezer in case they are needed at a later date. Once this is done I have to go back on four more cycles of chemo to beat down the cancer as much as we can. Multiple Myeloma is described by my doctor as a chronic disease which can be controlled. He equates it to Diabetes. I am determined that it will not come back and am getting stronger every week.
Your support during this very challenging time has been tremendous; the words fail me to express my appreciation.

Nigel,
Just opened this post and am almost in tears. This is amazing news. I am thrilled for you, your family, and the Eatwell community at large. My father beat Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. During treatment, he lived everyday as normally as he possibly could– planting garlic, hauling wood, and swimming. And I think you’ve done the same. And what you do for others is so, so, so, incredible. Certainly, you changed my life eons ago. So with all of these random comments, I couldn’t be more thrilled reading your very good news.
