Lombardy Poplars Taking the Strain
The poplar tree are ten years old and were planted with just a pencil size cutting by us. They have grown well and tall. When the seasons change we get some brisk days on the farm with winds up to 30 miles per hour. They are planted east/west every 500 feet to give us wind protection while we plant, tend and pick our crops. They can make a big difference and are very much appreciated.
